Proper Use of Force training is one of the most critical subjects everyone in private security needs. In 2024, California updated the annual refresher training requirements to include Use of Force as a mandatory lesson (all guards must complete a lesson on Use of Force every year).

No one wins if a conflict escalates to a physical encounter.

Good Use of Force training teaches conflict avoidance and de-escalation as primary responses. Only when all else fails and an unavoidable encounter ensues, the training explains the proper and reasonable response to various types of attack.
